100 life-size figures spread out along three kilometres of the beach and almost one kilometre out to sea. Secured on threee-metre-high foundation piles, the sculptures are solid cast-iron, made from moulds of the artist's own body.

Beyond the Irish Sea
Pier Masters House, Albert Dock
Commissioned by Liverpool Biennial, this artwork is sited on the Pier Head. The sculpture is based on an actual iceberg (named "r11i01") situated off the coast of Newfoundland. The iceberg was scanned using a combination of radar and sonar technology above and below water, and the sculpture was 'drawn' from the data acquired.
